I read a josei manga a litle while back and I forgot the title.
I think it fell in the genres of Josei, Romance and Slice of life.

I vaguely remember at the beginning of the story, the girl(white hair) was explaining what her high school life was like. She's not pretty, and she was really into this music band and she had a boyfriend who used her for her tastes. Her taste in music and little trinkets were popular with girls so he used her to woo other girls. When she found out she became disgusted with that band and all her other trinkets and left him.

I also remember a part when she says that she is not pretty and that she (to other girls) was perfect to invite to a goukon because she is not pretty, but is lively and keeps the goukon exciting. She later got tired of the whole routine and got a best friend (I think she had black hair).

Now in the future, she explains that she is not pretty, but she does have a boyfriend(has white hair). She talks to him about her best friend and how pretty she is. He tells her that she(main char.) is cute too. He makes her happy, but the one thing that she doesn't like about him is that he always disappears somewhere for a really long time. But even though he disappears, he always comes back and he always keeps his promises.

He disappears but when he does come back, he comes back with a bed that he built for her. She remembered that she asked him to make her one several years back. He keeps his promises, the bed proves it.
