That scene when they discover that one of their friends has been a manipulative villain all along, they break down, shocked and just kneel there watching while the villain smirks and walks off laughing.

Sostag Agree with u XD

Also the whole usual best friends turns into a bad guy, starts killing or beating everyone from the good force, the main male is all i must save him, i need to turn him back he's my friend and all that.. Honestly is gets lame. (Big Example Naruto)

I hate the fact that it's always the men who go through the training and become the saviors of the world. The strong women, if present at all, are usually either bitches, or have humongous boobs and are solely there for the fanservice they provide. Almost every woman fits into a shallow stereotype and is solely there to support the main lead from a nice distance and be a love interest. The strong woman is almost never the main lead, or if she is, she's extremely dense, naive, or just plain stupid. And what the hell is with all of the blushing?

hm I guess that's just how shounen and seinen are, I don't agree if that's what you call the worst cliche. but there's a number of seinen/shounen with female main characters and they're good.
Preferably read shoujo if you want strong-hearted females who aren't bitches.

Exactly the way it should be. If you want to see strong men fighting, then watch strong men fighting. How many people are afraid to go to neighborhoods because there are dangerous 'girls'? Having women fighting to begin with is unrealistic, actually, so I prefer it when they are there for healing purposes, or, better yet, emotional support/damsels in distress. 'Cliches' are what they are for a reason.

You do realize that SHOUNEN is mainly targeted at young males, right?

Yep, but there's a lot of shounen featuring protagonist as female, as BlackOrion said : examples include Claymore and Medaka Box.

Major props for missing the point so completely. There may be female protagonists, but how many 13-year-old boys are feminists? The fact of the matter is that shounen titles aren't supposed to be realistic. They pander to a demographic which delights in escapism. Female protagonists aren't there for the readers to project into, they're idealized women for the readers to desire instead. Or, at least, that's the general idea. It is the male leads that act as stand-ins, and boys that age often don't enjoy being shown up by their romantic targets.

what about this one:

some-random-old-man:"Don't go there young'uns, nobody has gone there and came back alive."
some-random-young-hero:"We'll see, pops."
aaand then the hero comes back with his loots. goes to another town and encounters another random old man who warns him with slightly different tones but exact meaning as his pal in the town below.

it would be hilarious if the main character actually DIES after he goes to this fromwherenoonehascomebackalive site.

It's rare to find a shounen when the MC actually dies in the end.

Yup, it is. The only good one I know is Chrono Crusade

Not the worst ever, but the cliché when the MC's main love interest gets abducted by a stronger villain makes me angry like the MC. Not that I hated it, I like this cliché, but it just way overused wink ! Most action manga I've read has that type of cliché (though I still read them), even through it gives more spice to the story.

I don't know if this is a cliche but :

Killing is OK as long as its not the main character(s) doing the killing.

Lemme clarify if that doesn't make sense : I don't like it when the HUMAN "bad guy(s)" goes around killing people because the main character(s) refuse to stop them and it takes the appearance of a side-character to stop the bad guy. To me, that just seems like "I don't want to get my hands dirty" or "Murder is OK as long as I'm not the one pulling the trigger".

That's why I prefer naive MCs who accept (or trying) to stop the bad guys killing thousands of people.

Ok, i got one:

SERIOUS STUPIDITY!

Telling each others the story of their life each an every time they meet:

A-chan: MC WAKE UP!, i knew you since we were little kids, your whole name is Yukimura MainCharacter and i'm A-chan, i'm a tsundere and i'm in love with you in secret, you have never been able to wake up early. Also, i just take a shit

MC: Can you please stop telling me all this every morning?

(the mangaka could come out with some new idea for the charactes intruduccion)

Not been able to notice obvious facts:

Mr.Otosan: MC, i'm your father, but i can't tell you i'm your father for some really REALLY stupid crap, so i won't tell you about that. You have the eyes of your mother btw.

MC: How come you know that i have a mother?

And in the other hand when they notice them, they were just a coincidence after another that lead to a confusion

MC: You kill her!, i saw you killing her with that bloody knife in your hand, i supected you from the beginning, and i saw when you drop her body in the forest.

The "victim": You got it all wrong MC, he was just showing me his knife collection, then i happen to felt like throwing ketchup over his knife and my body, when and urge of jumping in the forest in the middle of the night made me ask him for a ride,

MC: How silly of me.

Not been able to notice when someone is a spy:

MC: Guys, meet my new friend, "Spy"

Spy: I'm going to stab all of you in your sleep.

Smart best friend of MC: I don't trust him.

MC: GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE NOW!
