Once. It was back in Middle School, and my friend knowingly started going out with the guy whom I had a crush on. She even told me that she just got with him because she was bored and because she could. (well, she was quite pretty.) none

But well, it didn't impact me that much, since I wasn't completely in like with him. (But he was such a nice guy, such a pity he had to add that wench to his list of girlfriends.)

But right now, if my friend/acquaintances started going out with my current crush.. I'd be quite disappointed. Devastated even. sad

I've only ever had a crush on one guy. I still am friends with him and still like him. >>;. Every girl who knew the guy I liked had a crush on him. Surprisingly, he only dated one girl in high school but it only lasted like 6 months. xD Plus, she kinda pushed him into dating. I'm not really close friends with that girl, but it still hurt when I found out they were dating. Sooo yeah. but I'm thinking of giving up on him since I probably don't stand a chance with all these girls who have a crush on him. Yeah.

In high school, I sometimes I've started to like my friends boyfriends, but I've never liked a guy and then he became their boyfriend. And I'm pretty sure it was just because I didn't hang around with a lot of guys unless their dating one of my friends.

Yeah sort of.

Although I don't think you can call it a crush really. I wasn't that interested. I wouldn't have done anything anyway even if she didn't meet him and start dating him, so it was inevitable really laugh

I'm glad he's dating a friend of mine though. He was so miserable before, moaning that he's never had a girlfriend. She was a find and a half as well, gorgeous girl. Now it's not depressing when I'm around him because he no longer complains all the time laugh

Hmmm, did anyone realize that most posts in this topic are by girls?

Does this mean guys usually don't have crushes or that they simply don't post in such topics? ô.o

Well, let's get to the point...

Funny story, me and two of my friends had a crush on the same girl, and all of us failed miserably in trying to date her XD

Haha, interesting remark. Out of the 23 comments
(sans mine), only 3 are male, and the rest are all girls.

I don't know what to make of that. O_O

Girls tend to be more interested in romance generally I guess.

Well I don't really know what determines a crush but for me they only really last for a 1 or 2 days maximum. If I ever find someone very interesting or just generally someone I want to know better. I will most likely forget it when I get home and reality overwhelms me with all the work deadlines and exam times and payments I have to make. So the chances of a friend of mine having a crush on the same person I have is very low, and the chances of me caring are alot lower. ~.~ Being realistic is a bitch I wish I was capable of trying to aim higher than I allow myself to for once, I guess its what you do when you do alot of science and maths. You become a very logical person.

Why more girls? because boys are usually the ones who confess so the can convert the crush into love or rejection, but girls wont confess so easily, so their crush will stay a crush until a more active girls natches him or he confesses to another girl ^^u

Forgive me for saying this, but what you're saying is bullshit =P

I'm a male(as you can see from my previous post and my username) Computer Science student so by your reasoning I should be a very logical person, which I am indeed. However that doesnt change the fact that when I care about someone I care, and I can say the same about a ton of my classmates(I'm not a native english speaker so the word for student from the same course at uni eludes me), the ones that don't seem to care about girls are that way simply because they have low self-esteem and don't believe that they can get a girl to like them(which is also bullshit) so they simply give up.

My point is, you may feel that way because you don't have the time, but if you find a girl that you fancy a lot and you don't delude yourself into thinking you do not you'll either find the time or berate yourself for not having the time.

And I speak from personal experience in pretty much all of the things I said in this post =P
