It's kind of a mix for me. To me, some of the voices in the dub seems to fit more with the characters than in the original (Ex. Orihime, Baby Nel, Rukia, Ishida, Chad), but then there are some who don't even fit the character whatsoever (Ex. Renji, Grimmjow, Kaien)

Mines a mix too. I like the dubbing a lot but sometimes I want the Japanese version because it is way into the series while the dub is still in the sixth or fifth season, but sumthymes I like most of the dub version cuz the original version has subtiles dat go very fast most of the time!

Jap with English Subs.
1)great learning method (and english is the most suitable language to translate japanese in)
2)rarely there've been some dubbing worth hearing: I prefer much better the jap seyuus.

Subs. Just because the thing was originally written and animated in Japanese, and VIZ is obviously too lazy to re-sync everything properly.
Also because there's the flavour that the original language provides =)
AND ALSO, biggest reason: BECAUSE TOSHIRO's RELEASE SOUNDS SO STUPID WHEN SPOKEN BY THAT VOICE ACTOR IN ENGLISH. and EVERY KIDO SPELL IS PRONOUNCED WRONG! ARGG

i HATE all dubs for every anime. for some weird reason, american actors who dub think that every girl has an incredibly high, soft voice and all the boys have a really weird gruff voice. so no to any dub except for full metal alchemist maybe.
The only dubbing that I actually prefer is the dubbing done in FMA.
It's excellent.
Everything else falls miles short.

Even the dubbed versions of Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, and Trigun fall short?

I prefer subs to all anime than dubs..Dubs sounds weird sometimes...like in bleach, English Dubs changed Shinigami into Soul Reaper...which is really sort of weird for me

I use to hate subs but now they tend to be better than dubs. English dub bleach is ok. I just hate Ikkaku's VA. I keep thinking about Edward Elric or Dark Mousy. They should have gotten someone with a deeper voice, a closer tone to the japanese VA. It's just too weird and I really like Ikkaku too.

And Witch Hunter Robin, Kenshin, and several other greatly dubbed anime? D=
