I'm currently looking to get a very large body of work translated. I had hoped to attract enough translators for the project, but the situation with regard to translators isn't looking particularly hopeful. While I would much prefer to find enthusiastic fans of the series to translate the material, so far the search has come up short for what is needed(If anyone can suggest places or ways to find and attract translators, I'm all ears).
Right now, getting the material translated is a top priority, and I'm willing to consider paying for commissions of the work in question. I know some people feel that paying for translations is not what scanlation in general is about, but in lieu of volunteers I feel my options are limited here.
Can anyone suggest good translators taking commissions? Who are the most reliable and competent of the online manga translators?
