Are there any (good) mangas that take place on other planets?
Like Terra e... It need not be futuristic (although I'd prefer that) but I don't want the world to be earth. It should be somewhere else...

If you've ever thought or said "Nice Guys finish last" and really meant it, then you should probably read this LJ post by DivaLion. It's incredibly insightful whether you're male or female.
From a bumper sticker I like:
"If you're gonna ride my ass, at least pull my hair."

A, A' and Magic both take place in the future on other worlds. They are rather good.
Planet Ladder also takes place on a different planet/world, but I read it a long time ago and don't remember much, so it's a risk if you want to take it.
Please Save My Earth does take place on Earth, but the main characters are reincarnations of aliens that were sent to Earth to study it. Also there are several volumes that are just flashbacks of what the characters' past lives were like and those take place on an alien planet. Plus it's just a good story overall.

Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle I thought this had alternate earths.
Kanata Kara was already on my wish list and I have been reading Ares and Bride of the Water God. I have seen Escaflowne's anime which I heard was the better version but I will try the manga too. Thanks for the others.
thetindog those are exactly what I am looking for!
Thank you for all your suggestions! Especially the sci-fi ones. I can never find them.
More please

If you also watch anime I suggest you "Ima, soko ni iru boku" (Now and Then, Here and There) if you still didn't watch it.
And also "Uninhabitated planet survive" (but I'm not really a fan of it).
The only sci-fi manga at the moment that comes to mind is Lost Universe.
Other manga, but fantasy, that can fit:
Ubel Blatt
Watashi no Messiah-sama
Scrapped Princess
Mahou Kishi Rayearth

Some of them are alternative earths, and some of them are not. They're built so differently in some cases that you wouldn't necessarily know they're alternative earths anyway, but yes, they world/dimension hop.
