A proof that what I said is real is that a human that only eats meat will die in months with intestinal problems(since our stomach can't digest meat properly).

I lived off of exclusively meat and the occasional grain for damn near two years. I was actually pretty healthy to tell the truth. Normal good and bad cholesterol, normal blood pressure, normal heart rate, normal liver enzymes, ect. laugh I have a much more varied diet now though.

I always wondered what desserts you would eat if you went vegan. Any vegans can help me out here? Because whenever I make cake I use eggs none

I've actually had some pretty good eggless/milkless desserts. From what I can tell vegan friendly oils with neutral flavors are substituted for eggs in some recipes.

I'm still relatively poor, so I still eat what I am offered. Be it meat or veg.

Depending on the recipe, it's unneeded OR you can use bananas, applesauce, flax seed paste, or an egg substitute (like energy egg replacer).

i dont really eat meat. no pork, beef, chicken, turkey, or really anything else. im not vegitarian. i hate the taste of vegetables more than meat. i will eat a fast food burger or breaded deep fried chicked nuggets but thats about it. my main food supply is bread, rice, and junk food. im called wierd all the time because i dont like pop, doughnuts, sugar gum, meat, and alot of other stuff. im an out cast in my family, everyone else eats everything. i think vegetarians who dont eat meat becuse they think that people will stop killing animals are useless. waisting their time. just becasue you stop eating meat doesnt mean they will stop. even if there are 1000 poeple on this earth who eat meat, they will still make it. no morals is what i live by. i could never ever be a vegan because i cook sweets with eggs all the time and eat them. and also because i grow up in a family where we drink a gallon of milk everyday.

I became vegetarian when i was 15. I saw my neighbor killing chickens, and it made clear to me that i simply don´t want to be a part of something like this. I´m 22 now, and i don´t miss meat&fish. I never suggested to enyone that he should also stop eating meat, but somehow 4 people turned vegetarian because of me, they said i inspired them with my love for animals. That was nice smile "Be the change you want to see in the world" seems to be true ;*

What's rude is none vegetarian people saying vegetarians are weird, unnatural, missing out, or actually teasing them by saying well if you don't eat meat I'll just kill a bunch of animals. Seriously STFU. Obviously if you're just saying I can't see myself go without meat, you are NOT being rude. But people who are like haha you like animals or haha omnivores are scientifically stupid and weak. How rude can you be? Some people don't see animals as a source of food or maybe they can control their primal instinct and stay meat-free for life and not lust after every burger they see but can't have. Just because someone's a little different from you doesn't give you a right to be rude

You know whats even more anoying than those guys? This kind of guy....
Seriously. Self rightous and narcasitic in every sense of the core.

here is a good reply to it.

Really I think the creators of both those videos need to get a life. Neither is particularly well-constructed, justified, or coherent. It's just typical youtube dramatic fodder on both ends.

I was a vegetarian for three years, now I occasionally will eat fish (i do love sushi), but red meat, pork, etc. does not even appeal to me anymore. Honestly I don't miss it a bit! I am very creative in the kitchen, so I always make tasty vegetarian meals! biggrin

It never bothered me again!

Everyone deserves to be happy and successful, and for me being vegetarian aligns with that goal.
Many happy and successful, wise sages and men, have lived long healthy vegetarian lives.

The action of eating it is a mutable enjoyment, and each piece of meat has a history that's too much trouble for me to take responsibility for. As a medicine-food it's effects are rajasic (tendency to action), and tamasic (tendency to sloth/torpor)- when these are present good judgement and health are more likely to be compromised.

Modern vegetarians should be more wary of soy though, unless it's organic/fermented like natto, tempeh, etc. In the US many non-organic soy have GMO genes- a study found the offspring of GMO-consuming-rats sterile. Some concern it can mess with estrogen levels, contain pesticides, ergo cancer risk. Moderation for health! (I think the same issue goes for the GM corn (corn syrup) and soy lecithin, maybe even edamame?)

I like meat, there's nothing wrong with meat.
._.
Korean BBQ FTW.

I lol'ed at that video. Murder? How overly dramatic.
Plants are alliiiiiveeee and vegetarians eat them so isn't that murder toooooooo?
People say they don't have feelings but some scientists beg to differ. O:
Besides, animals eat other animals.... so that's murder too... right? Or can murder only be committed by a human being? And technically those who eat meat aren't murderers since they're not doing the killing but the eating. biggrin
Don't answer the questions, they were rhetorical.

I greatly respect vegetarians for their commitment to the ideal of the sanctity of all life. Sometimes, I find myself feeling guilty for the fact that I eat meat, depriving another animal of life... and then I grill me up a bacon cheeseburger and forget my guilt for three to five days as I revel in a meat coma.
