i agree. I really like this manga but i am beginning to get annoyed at how slowly the story is progressing. I had hoped that the kiss on the cheek would help her realize her feelings but, it ended up not doing anything at all.

I disagree...I see progress in this chapter even if it was only a little...

Sometimes I wonder about Kyoko's innocence. I know there's differences in culture to consider but is it really alright for a 17-year-old girl to be so naive when it comes to romance? I mean who goes into total meltdown over a simple peck on the cheek? I love this manga but it is so fustrating at times. I do agree that this chapter had a little progress though.

I really cant see any progress here. Yes her mind is at ease. Is that even progress at all though? He could have calmed her down without making it look like his kiss wasn't a big deal. They are back to a friendly sempai-kohai relationship. Its like the author is trolling everyone. I'm dropping this for a year or two. This chapter made me so angry that I want Ren to get friend zoned. I really hope these overly gentle and slow actions of his come back to bite him in the ass. It would be so annoying if he gets rewarded for this.

No, there is definite progress. Even though he did downgrade the kiss, 1. he still kissed her and 2. she's not thinking about Sho anymore. A little kiss on the cheek from him is much more important to her than a kiss on the lips from Sho. And in order to calm her down, Sho's kiss had to be placed under "acting" but Ren got away with a kiss of friendship/thanks.

I agree that there's progress in Ren's part. I mean, after this chapter when Ren overtly showed interest (considering their past interactions when he was always holding back), I think it's time for kyoko to realize how deep her feelings are.
