Just finished this visual novel, very sweet story.
Anyone have any recommendations for an alternative manga that has the same feel? Thanks
Here is a synopsis:
My name is Tachibana Yuuji, a regular student with no particular plans for the future – until my parents left for Hawaii on a business trip last fall, leaving me in the care of my uncle in the wintry countryside of Hokkaido.
Small-town life on Japan’s northern island didn’t have time to get dull, as from the moment I got there I was reunited with my cousin and childhood friend Saki. She’s pretty demanding, but when I’m hanging out with her and her school friends I don’t mind; as I get close to them I feel like I’m finding meaning in life that I didn’t know I was looking for.
Legend says there is a flower that blooms here in the depth of winter… as the twilight deepens and a snowflake melts in the palm of my hand, I stand with a beautiful girl by my side. Will we be able to uncover its mystery in this fleeting moment?

Try May Sky, Red Shift, and Hinatabokko. All visual novels. I haven't found a manga that had the same ambience as Snow Sakura. You could try Love Roma, Mahoraba, and Houkago Play though.
Quote from Sagaris
I agree, it was really plain. The story was so typical and All the jokes are basically taken by some anime or by "One - to the radiant season".
Btw, I'd say Inumimi as my first recommendation. But I think also something like Chokotto Sister, Love Hina, Akuma Jiten could be ok, especially Chokotto Sister.
For visual novel, since it's in English, I'll limit myself to translated one, and I'd say: One - to the radiant season (where they took all the funny jokes imho), Da Capo (there is also anime and manga), Heart de Roomate, Kanon (already mentioned), Lamune (I don't remember if the game is translated but there is also an anime), Wind -a breath of heart- (I think it fits, but I only played a little part), Shuffle and (last but probably the more suited to your taste) Family Project. I didn't mentioned all the classic ones, since I suppose everyone knows them.
But if you want something less "cheesy" and with a better story I'd strongly recommend Figure of Happiness (one of the most underrated game of the genre)
