1) a series (any genre) where it feels really refreshing to read. Something where I can't get worked up because I really dislike what a certain character does or something like that.

although a lot of people seemed to dislike his cowardice and Yuno's yandere-ism. But come on, he's a total coward who can't even talk to people correctly at first so what's wrong with him not wanting to take part in the killing of the game? But he gets cooler later on too, so big plus. And yuno even though you don't understand her extremes to begin with, her role was necessary so it was okay (plus I kind of thought she was cool. O_O)
If anyone's watched Kimi ga Nozumu Eien I hated the blue hair girl. Spoiler (highlight to view)
She couldn't be honest with her friend, although her friend was with her. She couldn't confess but still did what she felt like doing along with her feelings and while detaining the guy, got her best friend into an accident. Then she stole her friend's boyfriend. Wtf?
2) where all the characters like each other but small funny hates are okay too. just nothing extreme or where there's a lot of angst because they worry about being liked or something.
