Do you like instant food?
Yes, but not as much as food made of ingredients.
I prefer it over food made of ingredients.
I'd rather try that green mushroom at the nearby sewer tube...
I am a glutton so I like all kinds of food.

I am anti-instant food, anti-fast food, and even anti-sugar, anti-caffine, and anti-salt.

I eat healthy, and when affordable eat organic- preferably local products over imported. I frequent farmers markets. Its a pain in the ass but I feel hypocritical otherwise.

That being said, I have occasionally partaken of the instant yakisoba and nicer looking ramen packages. I have even boiled ramen in pickle juice and covered it with cayenne pepper, chicken, spinach and mushrooms (a desperate day when my mom was on a business trip and my dad had not gone shopping in weeks apparently). Better than it sounds.

But instant food is generally only acceptable when starvation is imminent.

the anti-salt and anti-suger is a bit crazy you know cause you cant survive with out them. i cant believe i just typed that cause basically eat like you.

rice three time a day along with two dishes of vegetable each. then a variation of fruits /chips/cake in between. man with all this i cant believe im 113lbs thats 3 pounds less then last year(i know this because i had my physical a couple hours ago.

I don't think that I could live without peanuts, especially chocolate covered ones. Hmm... I might go eat some now.

Eh I know you need sodium and sugars to live. I should clarify- I make a point to eat less than 400 mg of sodium per day, and for sugar I mean no white processed sugar.

Props to you on keeping the veggies going, but your diet is nothing like mine. I generally have 2 servings of starch per day, if any. No white flour at all, and no white rice unless am at a sushi restraunt. Of a minimum of 4 cups of vegetables a day, at least 1 cup I try to eat raw. None of it however comes from a can. I do not do potato chips, or any kind of chip at all, nor popcorn, nor do I chew gum.
I avoid all processed food made with sugar or corn syrup or white flour. I do not deal with artificial sweeteners either- except for Stevia which has been proven to not raise the glycemic index. So no processed sugars at all except maybe once a month or so when I want something really sweet for dessert I will do apple slices dipped in all natural clover honey.

I have to edit that.. I just saw my garbage and remembered I also do the occasional frozen chocolate dipped banana. No sugar in the chocolate though, all the sweetness comes from the banana.

Also as a note, I don't eat red meat except for once a week, and when I am really motivated, try to have at least 1 non-meat protien per day...

And, I am slightly jealous of your 113 lbs. I am a healthy 140 ish. Been doing this kind of life style for about 3 years now, and it has gotten a lot easier. The only thing I miss is pizza delivered... I have to make my own crusts now with whole wheat flour so its a real treat on the ocasions I get up and actually make it.

I dont eat frozen or canned vegatables either because they taste bad. Infact they taste horrible with one exception being canned jackfruit. You cant get that fresh in this country but it tastes soooooooo good. my family has a popcorn maker so we make our own popcorn and popcorn sauce which tastes better then the ones you can get at the store or the movies. why cant you eat white rice i cant live with out it and are you a health major or have an interest in that field because you're pretty knowledgeable about food. crap the vaccine is getting to my my arm hurts, my eyes are burning and this god damn headache i think ill go to sleep.

ps. i dont think i've ever eaten red meat unless you count lamb as red meat.

I like home-made food better than instant food, but I'm too lazy to go through the trouble of making it myself. So, I normally end up just running for the instant stuff...

As for fast food and caffeine, I try to stay away from 'em, but I have them on rare occasions (fast food = road trips, caffeine when I have to stay up for long periods at a time).

I cook when I can...(rarely)...I'm not much for instant foods but when I do make ramen I add either veggies, egg, naruto, ham or fresh meat into it. I usually eat out..but not at fast food places.

Instant Food All the Way!!!!! My parents cant cook for sh*t and I'm just too lazy to cook properly myself, even though i spent 3years learning to cook. So i end up eating instant food everyday, its pretty much just microwave foods.
But with the amount of instant noodles i eat, i think I've pretty much killed my sense of taste @@"

I totally like cooking your own food and the satisfaction of making it (like canning and such), but in the end, am not motivated enough to cook daily for just myself. After 20-12 hours at work, I have no energy to do much of anything, and at that point its almost time to go to bed. So I just grab whatever. And I don't really cook for anyone - my mom eats tiny amounts and of only certain things and Dad has a 'thing' against stuff I cook or can or anything. Doesn't matter what it is.

So am I ^_^;; The microwave is my friend!
I make ramen, jello, pudding, and TV dinners all the time cuz they're easy to make, but I guess I should be eating better since I'm still growing :3
Sometimes I even prefer fast food over fancy restaurant food, so my sister tells me I have no taste laugh

No white rice because it is not a whole grain and processes a lot like white flour, with a lot of calories and a high impact on blood sugar without much nutrition. Of course, I can eat it, and it tastes great...but I make a point of not eating it unless I am going somewhere special.

My interest came from family circumstances. My mother had a surgery where they messed up and removed too much of her intestines and now she can't absorb iron into her blood or process white sugar, and other foods like hard nuts. If she has too much of a wrong thing, or a lot of food at one time, it makes her violently ill. And she is tired all the time because she doesnt have iron to produce more red blood cells. She couldnt eat enough in a day to get all her nutrients, and her hair started to fall out. So I did my part and started researching about foods that would help her meet her daily nutritional requirements and give her extra energy while not adding so much bulk to her diet, and not hurting her stomach.
Add to that the history of diabetes and heart problems in my family, and I decided for my own sake to take a few nutrition classes while I was away at university, and to clean up my own eating habits.

I like all food. I like instant too. But I learnt to cook because my mum could burn water. Been a while since I did, though but most who eat my cooking say more please. Started doing some of the easier Asian, rice is nice any way. White rice is easier to use in some dishes too.

Anybody ever do the Lemonade diet? Where you only drink lemonade with Grade B maple syrup and cyan pepper for several days?

I did it 2 years ago and I never pooped so much in my life. It was crazy to be making a big poop after only drinking lemonade for 7 days eek It is so gross to think how much stuff your body can't process, so it just stays inside for years!!!!! I lost almost 15lbs in as many days and felt so good to be free of so many toxins
