Now this one is tough, isn't?

And yes I want a romance manga.

There is this thread (http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=1266) which is similar to mine, yet what makes it different is the request to keep the love triangles away. There can be a third party but with a small part in the story and the story should focus on the main couple the most.

It is still depending on a person I guess, (there are may guys with different tastes) but here are few titles I read and enjoyed maybe they will help:

[m]Kachou wa Maid-sama[/m]
Lovely Complex (love triangle is insignificant)
[m]You Are My Girlfriend[/m]
Pretty much every USAMI MAKI manga
Ousama Game (one-shot)
Special A
Running Through the City In the Sunset
Limited Lovers
Dengeki Daisy
Saruyama
Nanaco Robin
Love Attack
Arisa
Kimi ni Todoke
Otomen
Ojousama no Gohoubi
Mars
Hana ni Arashi

Popular shoujo mangas that I did not like:
[m]Skip Beat[/m]
Vampire Knight
[m]Ouran Host Club[/m]
Fruit Basket
Seiyuu-ka!
Tokyo Crazy Paradise

I just (as in 2 minutes ago) finished up Monkey High and I found it very enjoyable. As far as a love triangle goes:

Spoiler (highlight to view)
It never really goes anywhere considering the heroine doesn't feel anything for the guy and it never really progresses beyond the point of him having unrequited feelings for her

Give it a shot, as I think you'll enjoy it.

You might like Suki-tte Ii na yo and Nanaco Robin. I don't recall any love triangles.

Betsucomi (shoujo magazine where Usami Maki manga are published)
Lovely Complex
Love Roma - Art isn't so great, but the story is good. smile

It's labeled as a seinen though.

And redlinks instead of using the [url=series page], you can just use [m] and it'll link to the series if it's in the database.

I highly recommend Kimi ni Todoke.

I am a male, and I absolutely love it.

24 colors (one of my favorite sweet romances)
Beauty Pop
Otomen
Tenshi ja Nai!! (This one might seem like a triangle in places, but I didn't really think so, not like Fruits Basket or Vampire Knight were.)

You can try Seiyuu-ka! which is a manga from the author of Special A and Kimi wa Girlfriend.
Though it's new, (and I don't know about any love triangles) it's got a lot of comedy along with the romance.

You can also try out the works of the mangaka MOTOMI Kyousuke such as :

Beast Master
Dengeki Daisy
Otokomae! Beads Kurabu
Penguin Prince (a group of one shots)
Purikyuu
Seishun Survival (also a group of one shots)
I enjoyed all the above manga.

I also second Kimi ni Todoke
Have fun!

I don't second: Dengeki Daisy, Otomen, Beauty Pop, Beast Master

My Recs: Suki-tte Ii na yo, Shinrei Tantei Yakumo - Akai Hitomi wa Shitteiru (genre doesn't say romance but it's totally hinted).

Ludwig Kakumei romance is not big part of the story but this shoujo any guy would enjoy.
Ghost Hunt same as above.
Hana ni Arashi I don't remember if there is love triangle or not, but it hot and enjoyable.
Mars love triangle at the beginning only, at that it more focus on the two main characters.

Seems like we have similar tastes so maybe you will like:
Mekakushi no Kuni- It's a triangle but doesn't really amount to anything. There's the main couple and the other guy has an unrequited love.
Otomen
Beast Master
Good Father

and for oneshots maybe Benkyou no Jikan and the ones by Izumi Asuka.

Okay I’m not a guy but maybe you could try these (some of them have insignificant love triangles):

Beast Master
I Wish...
Oresama Teacher
Life
Maison Ikkoku
Saikano
Perfect Girl Evolution
Basara
Nodame Cantabile
Girl Got Game
MeruPuri: Okay they quickly get married but it's only 4 volumes long
Rurouni Kenshin
Kare Kano
Gokusen
CUTExGUY
Glass Mask
Karin
Tokyo Crazy Paradise: I know you didn’t like Skip Beat but this is a different story with lots of action

Ps: I actually like these so I’m not just listing them because they fit your requirements. smile
