But then again, you're not considering that if an innocent vampire was about to die, namely a pureblood or something, you know that Zero would not come rushing to their rescue. Honestly, consider the other side of the arguement for a little bit. Zero is just as heartless as Kaname when around a pureblood.

Honestly, Zero is just a bit too full of self-pity. He hates the world for being born, he hates all purebloods just because a single one turned him into a vampire, he hates himelf for not being able to be with Yuki (I see no reason why not though). He's just way too full of angst for me to like him. I'm sick of angst. Seriously, Sasuke anyone? Like a total Sasuke clone.

Kaname is just awesome. Yes, he is a messed up and manipulating person. But that just gives his character flavor. Yes he is heartless, but as mentioned above, so is Zero. Even Yuki herself can be considered heartless for being indecisive and hurting both Kaname and Zero. However, he truly does love Yuki. He accepts her everything, her conflicted heart, her personality, and doesn't expect really anything in return.

As to all of you who don't like the relationship between Kaname and Yuki, labeling it as incest, have you not been reading the manga? Kaname's not truly her brother. I suggest you reread it over carefully.

Kaname and zero all the way i like them both and kaname is just getting more and more mysterous like when he told yuuk that he not her reel brother and i kind of feel sory for zero becase there alot going on he killed his only brother and found out that yuuk is a pure blood a vampire the thing he hates the most i can see that hes lonly and love yuuk and that why he so mad at her man i love this manga

ya thats true that kaname is not yuuk real brother but how can he lie to her like that when he turned her back in to a pureblood ths firist thing she sid to zero was that kaname was her brother not knowing that he wasent and when she passed out kaname reviled that he was not her real brother to zero so kaname is a liyer and i clould kind of see why zero hates them i gess the resion why zero so mad at yuuk is because she likes kaname and kaname is a lyer and for that hes mad because yuuk trusts kaname and kaname is lyeing to her and to be houst i cand tell that yuuk love kaname and zero.

ZERO!!!!!!!!! I don't like Kaname. After all, he was the one who killed the pure blood (not giving any spoilers!), but he never admitted to it, and still blamed it on Zero. Yuuki better not end up with Kaname!!!!!!!

I actually hate them both, but since I have to pick one I'll pick Kaname since he's lovbed her longer and there isn't half as much emotional damage as Zero has!

I kinda liked Kaname in the beginning and then Zero came out I was like "Zomg! O.O"
I started to hate Kaname cause he used Zero to "protect" Yuuki knowing Zero wouldn't betray her. Then there's the whole thing of him not admitting being the murder of the pure blood(forgot her name).. :\ Lately I don't hate him as much as I did but now I CAN'T stand Yuuki. =.= She's not the same person as she was before and she's just fucking around with Zero and Kaname.. >.>
But Kaname is cool but Zero PWNZ him. (;

I like Zero - he's cool, handsome, and really makes your heart beat! He's really strong too! I think it takes a lot of strength for someone to live and go on after his family was murdered.

Kaname is well...too creepy for my taste, especially in how he treats Yuuki.

i'll pick zero because i think he's more interesting. for me the manga was much more better when it was focusing more on zero. emo vampire that hunts vampire thats in love with a girl that turns out to be a vampire vs. very very old overpowered evil vampire that thinks stalking is love.

A few months ago I'd have answered Kaname without even giving it a thought, nowadays I'm not so sure anymore... Guess somehow have taken a liking on Zero... He seems more, how should I say this, stable. It seems as Kaname lately never knows really well what he is supposed to be doing. At least Zero has his ideals well struck in his mind.

It isn't Yuuki's role to do anything. Why the fuck should it be her "job" to scare away his nightmares? Since when was she obligated to baby-sit him? Anyway, a relationship isn't about being with whoever needs you the most. It's about being with the person you love the most.

Anyway, I like them both but I like Kaname a little better. I mean, whats the deal with Zero abandoning her because she's a pureblood? Did she abandon him when she found out he was a vampire? Of course not! He needs to get over himself.

Although Kaname needs to be a little less controlling of her....
But I still like him better.
