What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')
Minor speech pattern differences (e.g., dropping the 'g' in '-ing' words)

So im looking for some good boxing manga's out there. Im only interested in boxing mangas.
Good examples would be Hajime no Ippo, HonoTen, Naguriya, Ring ni Kakero, Manten no Hoshi, Rainbow, RokuBuru, Holyland, Ashita no Joe, 1 Pound no Fukuin.

I know I pretty much named off all the bopxing mangas, but im holding a sliver of hope that theres one I might have missed. Any and all help/suggestions is very apreciated.

You missed Katsu! by Adachi which I tremendously enjoyed since he does good sporting mangas. (: Although some people don't like his story style, I recommend you giving it a try to see how you like it.

Thx for the suggestions, I read or am reading most of those but Stand Up! and Fly, Daddy, Fly I hadnt seen before. Much apreciated.
If I remember corretly wasent I'll stricktly just a basketball manga? Does it change later on?

Any further input would be welcome.

Just for the sake of completion, I add Open Sesame. It's mainly a romance manga, but main character is a boxer and there are some matches (but it's really a bad manga imho).

Ah, thx but I tried reading it a long time ago. Its more of a romance manga then anything. Still, thx for the input =P
