So it looks like the fight's finally turned around, at least for now...

Not bad if what happened in this chapter stays true, almost makes up for the past chapters.

Spoiler (highlight to view)
Toshiro freezes Aizen's sword and arm while Soi Fon was acting as a distraction. Then Soi Fon tried suzumebachi and misses but Shunsui comes up and wound Aizen with his shadow stabbing. Toshiro stabs through Aizen while Shinji manipulating Aizen's senses for the chapter's end.

I just hope it wasn't all under the effects of kyoka suigetsu... none

He aint dead, can almost assure you that. It was way to "quick". He will most likely do some kind off come back the next chapter.

My guess is on that he released his sword and created an illusion.

All in all, it was a decent chapter, though the major fight is getting really, really long...

It's all a sharingan illusion.
But at least this shows Kubo is listening to the fans.
He threw everyone a bone.

wtf.

At the last chapter I was so irritated at the fact that Aizen seemed unbeatable. I even said to myself that all this frustration would be even worse if he was beaten because of some careless error on his part. And that's just what happened. The all-knowing and powerful Aizen got tricked. I'm not buying it.

But like some of you mentioned - he's probably not dead.

This. All of the hyping up of Aizen's strength and genius, and he gets tricked so quickly like that? He could've easily broken Hitsugaya's ice if he's as strong as Gin says he was. I call bullshit on Aizen actually losing.

Spoiler (highlight to view)
But this is Kubo (KING OF TROLLS) we're talking about. So all of this might've actually happened. Or not. Can't really know for sure with him...

Exactly.

There's one genjutsu being cast I'm telling you. We've already had the bushins laugh

I thought Ichigo was supposed to finish him off :\ Well anyway, at least it's got us guessing, mildly catching our attentions.

It's quite clear that Aizen was using kyouka suigetsu right from the start. the real Aizen is watching from afar. else, he is just pathetic to die so quickly.

almost every shounen manga is using this illusion tactic, and it's just getting too repetitive. it looks so fake, and that makes it so predictable.

I don't care how much of troll Kubo is, he cannot use the whole 'it's all an illusion' scenario because he spent the last few chapters hyping Ichigo up as the only person who could defeat Aizen because he hasn't seen Kyoka Suigetsu So let's say that the Aizen everyone was attacking was an illusion, well to Ichigo's eyes it would look like everyone was attacking thin air, because Ichigo can't see the illusion. Ichigo would know that everyone else was being tricked and he would've told everyone this (he can't be that stupid right?).

Anyway, I must say this chapter was suprisingly entertaining, and I think I know why the last chapter was just a mindless montage of Aizen owning everyone. Kubo wanted to ephasise Aizen God-like abilities in order to to increase the wow factor of the final few pages where Aizen got completely owned (Aizen will probably get out of this unscathed but for now he got owned). The only drawback to all this is that all the vaizards, save for Shinji, were completely useless once again, makes we wonder why Kubo created them in the first place, if there only purpose was to be defeated in 5 seconds.

Heya, new forum member and a long time lurker here. I'd like to point out that this time around there isn't that much of a plot/powerhole here. Even if Ichigo can't be affected by Kyoka Suigetsu, everyone else can. Didn't Aizen state that he can pretty much freely control all 5 senses of those affected? So he could just be doing some video/audio censorship on all the others instead, nulling any warning Ichigo might try to make. And we all know that Aizen is a utterly broken Bat-Superman...
