I don't know if it's set in India, but I know they're Middle Eastern.
Ipaasha
The Hinanomori
Floating Garden

I wish there were more series with a Middle Eastern/Indian theme. ;___;
I like the names and their dark skin.

3x3 Eyes
Pai and the main villan are Indians. It has somewhat twisted version of Hindu mythology. Both Pai and the main villian are suppose to be twisted versions of the Hindu gods Parvathi and Shiva who are husband and wife. Another twisted fact is Pai has the third eye but in actual Hindu mythology Shiva has it.

Alot of Indian manga readers and anime watchers. If there isn't a significant population of Indian otakus then there wouldn't be an Animax channel in India.

Gunsmith Cats
Rally the main character is half Indian.

Blust! takes place in India and surrounding countries and the heroine is Indian but it is only one chapter manga for now. Possibly it might get a full series as the one shot was only released November of last year.

Hello fellow Indian manga/anime fan!
Animax is here for a long time. I remember watching anime like FMA, Yu Yu Hakushu etc. back in high school.

I know a bunch of desis that are into the anime/manga scene here in Toronto. Read through some of the series listed on this but there is only so much shojou one can take ( i do read some shoujo titles but prefer more shounen /sienen art styles.) in one sitting and yaoi is not my thing.
