Anal category should be removed as there is already an Anal Intercourse category.

'Elder Sister' should be removed, since there's already 'Older sister' category.
'Sister/s' should be merged to 'Sisters' too.

Was the 'Strong Female Lead' category recently renamed/merged to 'Physically Strong Female'? I'm sure I saw the Strong Female Lead tag on a lot of different manga before, but now they're Physically Strong Female. I also don't remember adding 'Physically Strong Female' tags on certain manga I've edited.

Ok I just saw this thread and got excited because the tags are my favorite part of the site. So I am sorry if I got a little carried away. I'm known to be obsessive.
Gender specification of attributes
--there is only a "Mentally Weak Female Lead" category, but no male. (are men not mentally weak... Or maybe just not in manga?)
--"Fat Character", "Fat Female", "Fat Male", and "Fat Male Lead" should be combined in some appropriate manner.
--"Absent Father" and "Absent Parent/s" should be changed to: "Absent Father"' "Absent Mother" and "Absent Parents" or combined into " Absent Parent/s"
I'm not sure how it should be but I know the pluralization is inconsistent (I am not sure what your rule of thumb is but there are probably more that are incorrect).
--The category "Burns" should be renamed "Burn/s".
--"Rainbows" should be "Rainbow/s".
--"Allergies" should be "Allergy/ies" (though this is just a preference)
--"Meddling Friends" should be "Meddling Friend/s" (in case a single friend meddles {?})
Random
--"Taken in by Friends or Their Family" should be "Taken in by Friends or Family" or "Taken in by Their Friends or Family"

It seems someone created the "anal" tag again.

Wow fast. Thanks!
I'm not sure if I am bothering you or helping but I have more.
1"Knife" change to "Knife/ives" (usually there isn't just one knife)
2 "Misunderstood protagonist" is the only category for misunderstood people it would be nice to add "Misunderstood Character" (If it is not protagonist who is misunderstood)
3 there is a "female lead" tag and a "Female Main Character" tag... I don't see why either is needed for because we already have "Seinen with Female Lead" and "Shounen with Female Lead" (and I just tagged those that were incorrectly categorized). But if there is some reason that these tags must exist they should be merged.
Edit: I this was not meant to be a reply ( well except the thanks part)

I believe this renaming was a mistake. I have extensively read through the top rated manga in the "Strong Female Lead" category, because I found it to be one of the best ways to find good manga and large portion of them have nothing to do with physically strong females.
I think the old "strong female lead" category characterized manga that had an emotionally strong female protagonist. Some of them were also physically strong or otherwise good at fighting, but not nearly always. On the other hand they were hardly ever mentally weak.
I think it would be best to restore the old "Strong Female Lead" category and create separate categories for physically and emotionally strong females if needed, especially since there is still a "Strong Male Lead" category and it's only half as big as the current "Physically Strong Female" category. Although I don't know how large the original "Strong Female Lead" category was and if some other categories were merged to it, but that could have been even bigger mistake. Having a (emotionally) strong female protagonist has a significant effect on the mood of the whole manga. It's not nearly as significant if some female sidecharacter is physically strong.
People have already started restoring "Strong Female Lead" category, the new one has over 30 manga in it.

I think the o ...
I think the o ...
I agree with this assessment. I also think the old "Strong Female Lead" was supposed to represent a generally strong female lead, strong as a character overall (i.e. "character not being a pushover"), and was supposed to cover any combinations of emotional strength, physical strength, strong wills, or strong leadership to represent a certain character in the sense of "not being a pushover" or "not taking crap from anybody"; a strength not necessarily meant in just a purely physical sense.
Physically Strong Female tends to imply that the character is literally physically strong, (e.g. able to lift very heavy objects that strong males usually handle, or able to handle some other task that requires physical strength at a level not expected from a female). Being physically strong in this sense doesn't hold true for the characters that were being referred to in some of the manga formerly tagged with Strong Female Lead. As it is, I think this category has become more misleading, and worse, possibly incorrect in some cases.
Besides, I thought the Strong Female Lead was supposed to be a counterpart to the Strong Male Lead tag, (which still exists as it is, untouched). I second the suggestion of restoring the Strong Female Lead category, and just let the users add a new Physically Strong Female category for those manga that really do contain physically strong females.

to coldlight, Miksa, etc.:
Man, you're right, it looks like the Strong Female Lead tag and its substituents (other tags like Physically Strong Female Lead, etc. that I consider to fall sort of "under" the general Strong Female Lead) are messed up now.
For a while I've thought that it might be best to split both Strong Male Lead and Strong Female Lead into emotional and physical weak/strong versions (so basically each would be split into 4 sub-categories), since it's more specific and thus should be better for helping people find what they're looking for. I've never actually done so though, because it was a lot more difficult to do than I thought (I talked with somebody about this once here).
Ok, so how to fix this... These categories are pretty large, so I'll propose what I'm going to do first here, wait a week or so, and if nobody objects then I'll make them.
1. Since it seems Strong Female Lead was renamed to Physically Strong Female and I doubt all of the series under it were necessarily there for having a physically strong heroine (could have been emotionally), I'll rename Physically Strong Female back to the more general Strong Female Lead.
2. I'd prefer to keep things about the female lead rather than just a female, since "female" is a bit vague--it could be any female in the manga, even a side character, and that doesn't seem very helpful as a tag. So I'll change Emotionally Strong Female to Emotionally Strong Female Lead. (Physically Strong Female will have already disappeared.)
3. "Mentally" and "emotionally" are pretty similar, so I'll merge Mentally Strong Female Lead with Emotionally Strong Female Lead. Also rename Mentally Weak Female Lead to Emotionally Weak Female Lead. (I don't feel too strongly about the word... either "emotionally" or "mentally" would be fine, I think, but I do want them consistent. So if it's decided that mentally is better, both the weak and strong tags should be changed to mentally so that they match.)
4. (extra) I'll create the following categories to serve as a sort of beginning "framework" (can't think of a better word right now) so that people will add to these categories under appropriate names. That way further mix-ups of people adding categories along these lines but with slightly different wording can be mostly avoided. I propose these names:
Physically Strong Female Lead
Emotionally Strong Female Lead (would exist after #2)
Physically Weak Female Lead (already exists)
Emotionally Weak Female Lead (would exist after #3)
Physically Strong Male Lead
Emotionally Strong Male Lead
Physically Weak Male Lead
Emotionally Weak Male Lead
Would that be cool with everybody?
