Recently, someone who I really adored watching on youtube died suddenly. I never would've thought that I'd cry or be depressed about something like this for someone I've never even met or talked to much at all, I was still devistated. As I watched him, I saw that he was always smiling and he loved to talk about his family and his adventures. He's one of those people who you know had a good heart. Anyways, It's been about a month now since he had passed, and the other day he appeared in my dream. He came to me with this huge smile on his face with a bright white light around him. He held both of my hands and said, (smiling) "I'm ok!". After that, I woke up in tears. I'm kind of a skeptic in this kind of stuff, but this dream felt so real and I really do think that he really was there telling me that he's ok.

Anyone else had any similar dreams/experiences?

ahhh yes your brain is only bringing up memories because you probably had strong feelings on the matter...i don't know much about dreams, but i recon your brain is just sorting out that part of your memory.

and i don't dream of my dead sister much, but has apered once or twice after 7 - 10 years...so...

I believe in letting people do as they wish, as do I myself. Sometimes, of course, what I wish to do is kill them and they do not wish to die. This gives life interest.

That only happens to me with TV show characters. Apparently I get more attached to them then anyone in my family. none

My grandfather.
Twice, I think.

And my beloved dog, Meggie.
She died so young... Sigh...
I've seen her about twice as well, I think.

There wasn't much of an actual or, as to say "happy" interaction.
My dreams tend to be rather surreal.

I actually don't have a close enough relationship with my relatives or such who have passed. So for now, no.. haven't dreamt about them yet.

what's this talk about "loved ones"? it's a myth I say!

seriously now, I'm not that attached to many ppl, more to my friends than to my family(with one or two exceptions) and so far none of them has died =P

I've had a few dreams like this with different people.

I just chalk it up to they're who I was thinking about before I went to bed

or

they're trying to tell me something but cant (usually silent in the dreams)

Was it by any chance Rodger? If so, it was a shock to me as well. I just subscribed to the guy days before his death, and all of a sudden everyone was making "RIP" videos and I was like "...huh?!" Odd...

I SEE DEAD PEOPLE...

Lol, sorry. I've had occasional dreams with loved ones in them - living and dead - but I think they're just random dreams. I'd start being really concerned about someone's mental health if they told me that they were constantly being "visited" by deceased people... I can understand the occasional dream, and even powerful emotional reactions to such dreams (that's only natural), but the whole "visited" thing kind of freaks me out.

No. I don't have those kind of dreams. I barely dream at all.
