So anyway, since i'm sometimes checking peoples lists i often want to know which gender the person is.

So i'm suggestion that we add a little symbol right....

<- Here... beneath the post count or something.

Male: User Posted Image

Female: User Posted Image

Unknown (N/A): User Posted Image <- if you wish to remain anonymous or haven't picked a gender yet. All new accounts start with this.

It would be even better if we could colour the symbols, like: male - blue, female - red/pink, N/A - black/white?

If this isn't possible (with symbols), then maybe just a text: Gender: male, or whatever. I just thought that symbols would look better...

that's inefficient. We already have a way to tell or show. It's an optional information in your profile......

LOL that doesn't work all the time though as you do get males reading yaoi sometimes laugh

I have encountered many.

Anyway, there is already this option in the profile page. I guess it couldn't hurt to have it under the person's post count as well. Then again, if it doesn't happen, I'm not disappointed either.

If it were to happen, symbols would look better. ♀ ♂ and maybe - or omit the gender field if someone puts neither? I can't seem to find the third one OP posted... and I think just the two are better. I haven't seen that one before, so I'm sure there are other people that don't know what it is.

If the gender thing is installed please don't color them guy-blue girl-red/pink. I don't like red/pink. I like blue more. basically I'm saying have them all the same color.

Guys read yaoi?! lol, haven't encountered a straight guy who would even glimpse at yaoi.

Anyway, personally, I really don't care about the gender of the people here. I like it mysterious and try to guess either they a guy or girl without checking their profile.

Say, someone with a username like Mamsmilk is obviously a guy (right? I would feel so stupid if I guessed wrong) bigrazz

And most of the straight people that I've met, both guys and girls, stay away from yaoi, including me. Yeah, that's off-topic.

Right now I think I don't want to put profile stuff next to posts... maybe someday.

Ok. Anyway, i just thought that since we already have gender in profile, might as well add a nice symbol too...

Edit: kurukuruyu - It is the symbol of Sagittarius. It's the symbol for an organism of unknown sex/gender. Not so common though, i'm not surprised that you didn't recognize it (i'm not exactly an expert on astronomical symbols either... -.-)
