B-Eyes - I'm not that sure about the similarity with the examples you gave, but it had a close enough feel;

I didn't really think Liar Game was a romance and haven't read Coelacanth but...

Mars
ES
Battle Royale
Uzumaki
Goth (really light romance)

7 Seeds -It isn't technically 'romance', but then again, neither is Liar Game, so...
Ghost Hunt
Heptagon
C-Blossom - Case 729 - Same author as Coelacanth.
Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan
Hoshi no Koe
Omoide Emanon
Redrum 327 - Sort of...

I didn't read Liar Game, but I read Coelacanth and come to think of it the relationship between the leads was more like empaty than romance.

Here:

Kagen no Tsuki
After School Nightmare
Cat Street
Vampire Girl
Onani Master Kurosawa

I agree with Goth (although very light).

I second Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan and 7 Seeds
also recommend:

Under the Rose - Haru no Sanka
Hana no Namae
Kizuna (MOMOCHI Reiko)
Mayonaka no Ariadone
Tista
Watashi no Megane-kun
Kumo no Mukou, Yakusoku no Basho - also a movie, I believe
Life - it is not necessarily romance but it is shoujo (the romantic relationship didn't come along until later and is not the focus of the story)
