Nope... except for holding hands maybe a few times, my parents have never really shared intimacy or anything nice and sweet that's found in other couples' relationships. God, it's one of those things that probably will NEVER leave your mind once you've seen it. I'm not going to describe what I saw. I won't say I was traumatized (I wasn't), but it wasn't something I particularly wanted to think about, even if you know it occurs. I never asked and they never brought it up afterward. (I've no idea how old I was anymore. Early teen I think. I knew without question that I'd messed up when I opened the door.)

Let's just say that if your parents have their bedroom door closed, which they almost never do, to the point that it gets really stuck (from the house settling, the frame was slightly off), which again they almost never do even when they DO close the door, then you really shouldn't try to open the door (even after knocking), even if your maternal grandmother DID call with a question for your father, which was a rare occurrence.
