I have grown to enjoy my siblings. When you're a kid, it can really suck. But as adults, they make holidays with the parents wonderful. It's so much more fun to make fun of their embarrassing moments than be alone and be bored. It isn't always fun hanging out with old people, unless you have siblings to help raise the pace a bit.

I have a younger brother and well we argue more than we get along because we are only 1 year and 3 months apart. I remember one time when we were younger we fought over the remote control and started to fight each other. I managed to make him trip and fall to the ground and then I kicked his lungs for a while. Now we don't do that anymore since we've grown up and I'm a girl and he goes to the gym every day... and yeah, I'd obviously lose. smile)

But the times when we get along are great so I really don't regret having a sibling. It's awesome.

I am having the time of my life today reading old threads. This one caught my attention. So BUMP!

I have an elder brother and I am grateful for that. When we were younger he used to pick on me a lot and we used to fight all the time. But that has gradually decreased. Some of it has to do with the fact that he is a Taekwondo national champion, since I would obviously be the victim if we fought. But mostly its because we get along better now. Elder brothers are totally awesome eyes

Yes! If it weren't for us being raised separated (me adopted by my aunt), it'll be better. My dad, yes my dad not my stepmom, and my aunt spends all their time forbidding me to do this do that and interacting with him... Heck! I tried teaching him his homework and ended up getting into trouble and fighting with my dad. He says no touching his son and it's none of my business.

= = Well, we ended up in a fight and kinda not as close as before though. More like, I fought with his mom over his ownership... ahaha.

Can be better, but yes, I like being a big sister.

I've got an older sister and we used to fight all the time. Like everyday. Or maybe every half day.
But I don't regret a single minute spent with her; we were and still are really close and I'm grateful to have a sibling. The dark times, the annoying moments, the fights, it's all worthed, because they all come from a strong bond.
If you have younger/older siblings, no matter what the situation is, never wish for them to not be there: the reasons are almost always so stupid in comparison to the love and the support you can give to each other.

Then again I guess there are people who you just can't bring to see this way because of more serious reasons, but these are exceptions that you can find between parents and other relatives as well.
