I'm looking for a slice of life manga that aims to tell some form of a story (rather than having short chapters of pure fanservice). Preferably dramatic, passionate, somewhat realistic and without much comedy (I'm not looking for works like Yotsubato!).

Slice-of-life-wise, I've read Yotsubato!, Emma, all of Sahara Mizu's scanlated work, Aishiteruze Baby, Usagi Drop, Honey and Clover, Little House with Orange Roof, Hourou Musoko, Oyasami Punpun, Forever Honey, Cat Street, Binbou Shimai Monogatari, Binbou Shimai Monogatari, Love Roma, Life, & Bartender.

Thanks for any/all recommendations in advance!

Love So Life--maybe
Men's Kou--this one has comedy and at first you might be put off by it but try to stick with it because there are some late revelations that might change your mind. The relationships are realistic to a degree and not everything has a happy ending and so it doesn't have that love conquers all thing.
Solanin---haven't read this since i try to avoid tragedy but have heard that this is pretty good.
