Looking ONLY in shoujo/josei, please!

I'm looking for a male lead who is cool, quiet and calm - but ALSO sweet.

Too often, the male lead who is sweet is also "genki" or noisy/energetic or just plain wussy - whereas the calm guy is often cold, mean, rude, sarcastic or unapproachable.

I want a calm guy who is cool-mannered but not cold, composed but not indifferent, restrained but not mean, often expressionless but not emotionless. You know what I mean? Basically a sweet guy who really cares about the girl, but who isn't all genki/over-enthusiastic about it... And also isn't at the other extreme of being arrogant/cruel about it. A guy who remains calm and composed in almost any situation, but that doesn't mean he doesn't care...

Example: The male leads from Hotaru no Hikari, Hana no Namae and High School Debut. They're the mature, quiet, calm types who are also very devoted, even to the degree of being self-sacrificing, and who really do treasure their precious beloved girls. <3

Yeah. A guy like ice-cream: sweet and cool at the same time! YUMMEH!

Lol... That's what I'm looking for. Any more suggestions?

Men's Kou---this onez awesome. One of the male leads is like that i beleve when with girls i think but a bit different like more free when around guyz. Though m quite sure that instead of him you will like the cheerful maki more. Its from guyz perspective about dudez from a boyz skul looking for girlfriend. Though it be comedic at beginning, it also has its serious moments. I am not sure the dude is exactly like that but maybe...hmm he mite be.

@John21, I'll definitely have a look at those! For some reason I never thought the lead of Dengeki Daisy was the cool/calm/collected type, because we often see him spazzing, but now that you brought it up I realized that he actually IS that type, and so much of his spazzing is part of the semi-fake identity he builds in order to hide his true "Daisy" identity... His true self is much quieter and often even melancholy. O_O Lol, epiphany! Kudos to you for making me re-think a character...
