After reading 4 chapters (current) of this manga, I suddenly don't feel like venturing into any others!

I'm not really asking for a zombie themed manga, but what I'm looking for is some kind of dramatic event at the beginning of the manga which makes me say "what a coool situation to be in"

I looked up the mangaka's other works, read Umisho and was kinda disappointed...

Maybe I'm looking for a bit of tension, ie. not a completely happy series at first glance.

Really not too sure what I'm looking for, but if you've been in the same situation, maybe you could help me!

I think it fits your description pretty well but it's only one chapter so far. Author has had success with other works so it could have potential.
