The strength of the love we feel can also vary as well depending on the relationship. Especially since love can be found between friends, between family, and between lovers. Sometimes it can be unconditional. But sometimes it can be imperfect as well, reaching into our deeper insecurities such as jealousy. I really don't think it is simply just chemicals in the brain, because those chemicals only bring feelings of elation or what not (kinda like drugs), and these chemicals are released because of certain stimuli, which i believe are brought forth by the emotion we feel. We feel happy because we recognize we are loved or we love someone else, that sort of deal. My two cents.
