I once read a manga that had a tribe of people who could turn into dinosaurs. The main character was a guy who also served as a female for the dinosaurs (?) and one of them fell in love with him (questionable relationship). I feel like there was an "X" in the name or something. The plot was mainly the dinosaurs fighting over the male/female guy and various problems with experimentation and attacks from the military.
