Dust, dense vegetation (I get hives from walking through tall grass), benadryl (ironically), and prolonged skin contact with any metal except gold, silver, and platinum... so all my jewellery has to be 'real' and I have trouble wearing watches except those plastic Swatch ones.

One other thing which isn't an allergy but is still really annoying is that I'm really prone to getting insect bites. I'm just one of those people whose sweat/scent (I don't know exactly) attracts insects. It's really terrible for me because I live in a tropical country so I'm constantly getting bitten by things even at home though everyone else in my family is fine.

I have allergies but I don't know what they are. I only know I have them year round, and they're worse during the summer.

I have a very bad case of allergies:
-Dust
-Smoke
-and Seaweed-(not really sure about this, I eat it sometimes(rarely) but no allergic reaction at all, but one time, when I ate a very little amount of it, I needed to go to a doctor cause it gave me a bad reaction..)

I'm allergic to benadryl ... yeah the medicine they tend to give you to help out with allergic reactions.
Only thing I know I'm an allergic to.

I am allergic to:
-Shellfish
-Raw eggs [deadly]
-Yeast
-Mayo
-Certain type of lotion/pills/medicines/ointment

Some of these are just recently developing, like the yeast and certain types of ointments.

I used to be slightly allergic to animal fur. Doesn't affect me anymore. Which is definitely a good thing, since I adore animals.

Quote from VampireBanana
Did anyone notice that as of late, there're more and more people with allergies, illnesses and other issues?

I noticed this while going through the older posts. Many terms like allergy, cancer, hypertension etc. were coined only about 100-150 years back. Yet, they plague the society now. This has to do with the chemical intake in our bodies. Almost everything we use and eat has some or the other chemical in it. I got interested in this topic after I read The Adoration of Jenna Fox. It has some intriguing views on the topic.

Shark! I'm fine with other seafood, though; shark is in its own little category because it's cartilaginous.

Some minor pollen allergies, but nothing serious. But I can't stand it when people smoke--I start coughing and they glare at me as if I'm being a nuisance when they're the ones who are smoking right next to the ventilation intake.

I'm very happy to say that I don't have any and I hope that I won't ever have one.
