And one eye has a different degree than the other. o____O

Same. My right eye is significantly more nearsighted than my left one. I used to not need glasses, even with my bad right eye, but it has gradually becoming worse.

I wish I had 20/20 vision...Wearing glasses sucks. Especially one time in P.E. where I got a scar on my face because of those glasses. -__- My beautiful face~~ sad

I have 20/20 vision. I don't really wear glasses, except when I wear them for protection when I use the computer.

Nearsighted. Used to wear contacts, but now have glasses. I'm fine with either.

Ridiculously nearsighted, I don't even need glasses for anything about 2ft in front of me. Though I can't really decide between glasses and contacts since I honestly wear them both 50/50.

I wear glasses and am farsighted. I also have a lazy eye, my left one, and it is very weak. If I close my right eye and use only my left one to see, I can see, but I can't read worth counting unless the letters are real big. I have two pairs of glasses as well, a new pair and an old pair. The new pair causes too much eyestrain when I read for too long with them on, while my old pair doesn't, but I get a headache if I wear my old pair for too long.

I have 20/20 vision ^_^
However, it's pretty sad considering I'm the only one in my family who doesn't wear glasses.

Question: I'm just curious but is the option "I'm blind" supposed to be the literal meaning of not being able to see ANYTHING or you just have to wear glasses all the time?

My eyesight is pure crap. I am nearsighted, and I wore glasses since kindergarten. If I'm not wearing glasses, I can't see people's faces unless they're right in front of me. Actually, it's kind of creepy. Sometimes, people look like they have four eyes.

There are different degrees of blindness, very few people who are considered blind are unable to see anything. Most legally blind people can still distinguish light, and even objects, but their vision is considered much worse than someone who just needs corrective lenses.

I'm guessing either one would work.
Like Shaggie said, completely blind or so bad that corrective lens won't work.

Though I bet that 4.5% that voted it were trying to be funny.

@Rainy: Same. LOL My right eye is worse than my left eye because I have a scar on it. XD

Quote from lambchopsil
So what's your eyesight? For me, I'm nearsighted (because I read with the book too close to my eyes as a kid), and I wear glasses since I can't afford contacts...

people keep saying that... my mom also said that it's cus i read while sleeping and watch tv too close when i was small

ps: all of my sisters and brother are nearsighted

I don't need glasses. I can see perfectly.

I own a pair of red chem goggles that look like glasses so I wear them sometimes for fun but I can't last more than a couple minutes with them on. I hate having something in my face. D:
That is the same reason why I can't have bangs.

This poll confused me a little. lol. Where I'm from, I'm considered shortsighted (nearsighted) because I can read a book without my glasses on.
So I have glasses because I'm short/nearsighted, but they're for long/farseeing.
Without my glasses on, I'm practically blind. lol. Reading is fine, but everything else turns into a blurry mess.

my right is slightly near sighted, the other is extremely far sighted (to the point everything is just blurry colors) with astigmatism.
