Are there any of these out there? you know, the heroines that have a comeback for anything and everything. or charmingly turn serious situations into a funny one. or are hilarious because of their unawareness and denseness in the trouble they cause, etc.

this and some romance would be wonderful.

Warau Kanoko-sama and Conversational English School Wars both have "witty" heroines, or heroines that have a comeback for everything... But it's a deadpan kind of humor. biggrin

Eensy Weensy Monster's heroine is funny in her internal freak-outs, but not so much in an outspoken way...

Nodame Cantabile is priceless, in a cluelessly humorous kind of way...

And then there's Dengeki Daisy, of course. And Oresama Teacher...

If I recall, 50 Rules for Teenagers had a witty heroine as well...
