I'm looking for a manga about a girl that takes the lead in the relationship and kinda makes the first move sort of thing. The male lead can be shy, I don't mind that but other variations would also be welcome. An example would be Prunus girl, it is exactly what I'm looking for (except that the female lead is actually female, lol). As for the genre I would much prefer seinen and shonen in that order but also wouldn't mind Shoujo and Josei but as stated seinen and shonen take priority. thanks in advance.

Edit: No hentai plz

perhaps maybe Sankarea--the concept is pretty unique and the male lead is different. check it out, its pretty damn good. awesome art as well.

then there is Haru to Natsu which is ok(bad art).

well the girl in prunus girl might actually turn out to be a girl hopefully so atm not really sure about that are we...

actually Haru to Natsu fits perfectly with what I'm looking for and is actually on my reading list (that is not to say that it has to be ecchi but its a welcome addition). Will give Sankarea a shot. thanks John21 and keep those recommendations coming please smile.

Kanokon
Kanojo wa Kanno Shosetsuka
KissxSis
KimiKiss - Various Heroines First and fourth volume are like this (each volume has a different female lead)
Kodomo no Jikan (lolicon)
Henkoi! listed as seinen but it's borderline H.
Lilim Kiss
Omamori Himari
Sundome
Yuria 100 Shiki

That's about all I can think of for now.

thanks for this list, unfortunately they are on my reading list. Also comedy is great and all but if their is no plot behind it and is repetitive (i.e Yuria, Kissxsis) then I would prefer something more serious. I think that's kinda why I prefer the seinen ones more.

The only way someone would know this is if you make your lists public. So, it would be good to change your settings, for others to check when suggesting something for you.

Guess there aren't alot of manga with girls taking the lead, as I stated in a previous post Haru to natsu is a perfect example of what I'm looking for. Also I finally figured out how to make my list public so feel free to check my list before suggesting.

You can try Vampire Game, the heroine is definitely the one doing the pursuing (throughout the story) and not the other way around, but be aware that their romance is not the main focus of the story...
