There's also a search function specific to authors at the bottom of the Mangaka page. There's no official english title but maybe someone can ask someone to give a translation or you can try Google translate.

Have you tried searching a part of the author's name, first or last name only? btw, I think the "There are no authors in the database" message when no results come up is...misinformative?

Archon Solon   6:20 am, Aug 23 2007 Posts: 7192	I believe Eeled was trying to search using only the full name and not just part of the name. The way the database works, you need to have a perfect match in order to find the author. For example, searching for Adachi Mitsuru, Adachi, or Mitsuru would find the author in the database, but not Mitsuru Adachi (the reverse). Of course, it's also possible that the database has the family and given name reversed.
