Hi again,
Once again, I'm looking for a really old manga. No, it's not Team Medical Dragon, and I'm pretty sure it's not Black Jack, and DEFINITELY NOT Ray. It IS however related to medicine.

Here're some of the arcs that I can still remember:

Spoiler (highlight to view)
1. In one instance, a building collapse, and there's this picture of him supporting a piece of rubble on his back. If i remember correctly, he was unable to operate on an injured person because of this, and had someone else (I think it was a kid) do it.

2. He was shot in the chest. And for some reason, he managed to flex his muscle such that the bullet shifted to his armpit, where he removed it using a simple scalpel.

3. Some poor guy was deliberately knocked over by a car, so that his organs may be used to save some old rich bugger (or politician... well, someone influential, that is). And I think there was a bit of deduction of how the injury on the victim's legs would've been lower. I think in the end, the doctor saved both the victim and the rich bastard. But when the bad guy saw the victim alive and well, he had a heart attack and died. (I think he was after the victim's heart).

I don't know the series myself, but just by doing some searches for "medical manga" and "doctor manga," I found one series called Super Doctor K that looks promising.

hmm... Super Doctor K eh? Definitely looks old, and yeah, does reminds me of the character as well, which seems overly beefed with muscles. I'll try to see if I can find some scans around. Thanks for the help!!

Tokyo_Blossom:
Thanks for trying to help. Definitely appreciate it. However, I've already read Monster before... boy that's one LOOOOOONG series. Which is why I'm looking for manga that has short arcs instead of looooong ones. biggrinbiggrin

Reading the first volume... and yeah, it does seems to ring a lot of bells... Now if only it has that arc where:

Spoiler (highlight to view)
some volleyball player lost his hand (completely severed) while saving a kid from a train, and it was completely restored by the doctor (yeah, absurd, but still... I love the suspension of belief).

Then I can be 100% sure that it is the one.

Thanks again!!
