I'm not quite sure how to describe the tone of the manga I'm looking for, but it's definitely upbeat & happy. Not too much drama, a plot would be nice, some romance, humor, and an overall happy tone.
preferably shoujo, though I will read other genres if they fit.
Examples:
I ♥ HS
MAX Lovely!
(please, no shounen ai, shoujo ai, yaoi, yuri, hentai)

Already read/reading:
Dengeki Daisy but it kinda doesn't fit what i'm looking for with the brother dying and the janitor guy having a secret and all that crap. too heavy.
Beast Master definitely fits ^_^
Faster Than A Kiss again with the parents dying, too heavy
W-Juliet good, but not what i'm looking for
Kimi Ni Todoke yup ^_^
Kaichou wa Maid-sama! good, but not what i'm looking for
Private Prince kinda heavy.. too much like "ohnoez - him or my career!?"
Switch Girl kinda fits, i like it ^_^
Power ..just weird...
Charming Junkie kind boring after a while D:

Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume! It literally has "happy" in its title. Ok, some drama will happen between the main male character and his past. But, the main heroine knows how to put a smile on your face and tries her best for others. (In spite of her strength, she is slow sometimes to some of her surroundings. It's cute slowness though.  )

Aishiteruze Baby -- maybe, I haven't read it in ages, so I don't remember if it gets depressing or anything XD
Beauty Is the Beast -- maybe not so up-beat, but a great manga nonetheless XD
Gokuraku Seishun Hockey Club -- hilarious! But maybe not happy enough?
Dear -- kinda sad in the first volume, but then it gets happy XD
Strange Orange
Otokomae! Beads Kurabu
Akagami no Shirayukihime
+Anima -- not really any romance, but this is THE feel-good manga, for me. It's so freaking adorable!
Land of the Blindfolded -- though it has some drama later on
Junai Labyrinth -- probably some drama later on, but it's so cute right now
Ciel -- more mellow than happy
Karakuri Odetto
Hayabusa (ROPPONGI Aya) -- maybe, I kinda forget what it's about XD
And since you like I ♥ HS, try basically everything else by that mangaka. She always has funny, quirky heroines and the stories are always really up-beat.

Hitoribocchi wa Samishikute maybe? I remember reading all of it and feeling that it was just...very lighthearted. It has a feeling of freedom and light heartedness around it. Any thing sad that happens is quickly resolved by the gf & bf.
Love So Life There are some sad parts, but they are minor and usually resolved using the cuteness power of the twins and the uncle. Some romance...
Carat! maybe? It's a comedy/parody...
Usotsuki Lily Comedy. It also makes fun of some shoujo tropes. Fairly episodic. The main couple is hilarious.
