i've been studying chinese (simplified), and just started using books as a way to learn (as our current class is going way too slow, so i was wondering if there were any manhuas in simplified that you could recommend
(if 1/2 prince were in simplified, my life would be complete as current scans are slow)

I don't know if manhua would be a good thing to try and read if you're starting to learn chinese. but just so you know the reason the half prince scans at the moment are so slow is because they don't have a raw provider atm

and daaamn that bites for 1/2 prince, where can the raws be found?
i remember hearing it was a taiwanese manhua, and im not anywhere close to there at the moment, but would i be able to find it in other parts of china?

I'm not too sure if you could get it in china, it's serialized in a monthly magazine in Taiwan called
Dragon Youth Comic (龍少年 - Lóng Shàonián).
So unless you can find the magazine somewhere else in china then your next best bet is to find a copy of the latest volume. I dont think the one with all the latest chapters comes out until August though...
You could also try reading the novel if you wanted to but i think that would be a bit difficult for a learner.
