What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)

I'm looking for manga where the protagonist is usually a calm, peaceful, and gentle person. However, under certain conditions "a switch flips" and they go into a fit of rage thats soo violent and brutal its seemingly malevolent and would make one think "this person is dangerous".

Beast master is an "ok" example. Though, I'm looking for something more along the lines of the character being regarded as "a nice person", but intollerant to injustice and the character harshly "punishes" the wrong do-er.

Kinda like shuuichi from Zero though "more obviously gentle, calm, etc". Hes "a nice person" but I'm looking for someone whos almost budda like.

The part that is like what I'm looking for is how brutal he is. When a female classmate was sort of abducted and beaten up etc by some male classmates, shuu came in and kicked some ass.

Megalomania - I wouldn't call it rage, but the main character goes berserk sometimes.
En Passant - Maybe not exactly what you are looking for. The main character is pessimistic instead of gentle when he is "off"
