What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')
Minor speech pattern differences (e.g., dropping the 'g' in '-ing' words)

The basic set-up vaguely reminds me of School Rumble, down to the girl named Eri, but it certainly wasn't a hentai, and Eri from School Rumble would never do that in a canon story. But there has been a cubic ass-load of dojins for that series. I'm not aware of one being made into an anime though. So it's probably something else.
