[Charge!!] Cromartie High School (funny but just a gag manga so i stopped)
Azumanga Daioh (saw most of the anime which I heard is pretty faithful and it is hilarious)
Mx0 [not purely comedy and crap ending due to it being pulled]
GTO [not purely comedy but simply awesome]
Full Metal Panic Fumoffu [anime and you'll need to watch the first series to understand the characters]EDIT: By the way, I read quite a bit of Yankee-kun to Meganee-chan and I don't think I laughed once.

I'm also looking for mangas like Angel Densetsu, but it seems to be the only one of its kind.(I mean the way it makes me laugh is different from most mangas I have read so far----and I haven't read that much)
Why don't you try Sora no Otoshimono or Kyou Kara Ore Wa!! ? They're pretty good in term of comedy.
