Quote This year's 31st issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday that the Jump Super Anime Tour 2010 will have Beelzebub and Toriko as the event's main anime projects. It will be the first original anime project for the Beelzebub manga and the second one for the Toriko manga (after last year's Jump Super Anime Tour). animenewsnetwork

I hope that the animation studio won't fuck this up! That would make me cry myself to sleep.
Another link about the anime: http://www.moetron.com/2010/06/30/beelzebub-anime-special-a nnounced/
If this turns out to be as good as the manga is then it will just be a matter of time until it becomes the latest "thing" in the anime world.

I'm so happy you can't believe it! This has become the number one anime I will be looking forward too!! I just hope they don't skimp on those fighting scenes or change the art style that much.
God, seriously. Best news of my day. :3 <3

Now I can't wait to see which seiyuu they are going to choose. I hope Oga will be getting voiced by Mai Nakahara who was voice actor of Okazaki Tomoya from Clannad.

Hmm...isn't kind of early for an anime adaptation? It hasn't even reached 70 chapters yet and given that it is an action series (albeit a hilarious one), the anime should reach the current arc fairly quickly, which means fillers, which no one likes. This series deserves a good adaptation and not one that wants to cash in on the series current popularity.

I hope the seiyuu's match the characters. That would be awesome. I'm praying for good animation too.

Well don't worry it's going to be released as single special episode so no worries. I hope they render action scene's well just like from manga.
Quote According to the latest issue of Weekly Shounen Jump magazine, Tamura Ryuhei’s action comedy series, 「Beelzebub」 will receive an anime adaptation. This single episode special will be shown at the Jump Super Anime Tour 2010 this Fall.

You mean Nakamura Yuuichi? The guy you mentioned only voiced Tomoya in the Clannad movie.
Btw the seiyuus have been announced. Oga is played by Kamina's seiyuu from TTGL.

Let's hope the quality is better than Fairy Tail's... I still can't believe they managed to screw it so badly... Magic circles and voice acting for the lose!

So far from those two episodes, I think the anime adaptation will suck. Apparently the animators are improvising a lot and from what I see, they suck at it(god i hate them).
Also Bel in the tv animation is really annoying, he's much more tolerable in the ova, which imo is better in some cases than the tv version(because its much more faithful to the manga, if you ignore the 23 chapter in 1 episode with freaking huge cuts from the manga).
also Oga punch "pow pow" beelzebub has now turned into a kids show. which i think is the new tokyo law's fault.(or the animators just really suck)

Lol how is Beel annoying? I actually think he's cute, but then again that might be the reason why you find him annoying lol.
I don't think the new law's to blame. If ever, it's the time slot when Beelzebub is aired. It's in the morning, so of course it's aimed for kids.

I don't think its the timeslot. they could have just requested for a different time slot before making the anime if they didn't really want to make a beelzebub a kid show. the animators just deliberately made beelzebub a kid show. and what were they thinking, its full of fighting, delinquents, cruelty, demons and they aim it at kids. they really suck.
And also I actually like manga Bel. what I find annoying in anime bel are the constant add-ons they made on bel. and ova version was much more tolerable.
