Getting stronger is a cliche in shounen manga. Usually its a weaker character that becomes stronger or more skilled over the course of the manga through training or power ups.
What I'm looking for is manga with that same cliche, except instead of a weak hero becoming stronger, its a heroine.
It can be anything, action(involving supernatural/fantasy elements or more realistic fighting like martial arts), sports, or talent related(like acting, signing, etc).

Until Death Do Us Part -the female lead is a young girl (13 or something?), who starts out physically pretty helpless, but seems to be on the path to becoming badass later in the manga.
Y+M -the main plot is a group of females training to become stronger to avenge their dead family members

Lol she was already strong but lost all her powers and seems to be getting them back slowly with the course of tha plot
ahh someone used the long name. Oh well. Try Kurokami its like it too(shame the guy must lvl up too in order for the girl to use more of her new powers). Oh i almost forgot the one u will like the most sekirei this one have LOTS of girls training to beat each others.
