I'm looking for a manga where the king, preferably one that actually is a king from the start and not some prince or random wanderer, falls in love with some girl. Girl is preferably, uhm, common. If not, oh well.

Anyway, shoujo + romance preferred. I've read a bunch of yaoi stories like this, so, don't recommend manga from the yaoi genre anymore? Thank you so much~

you can try shiina dark but i don't think the king has fallen for one yet.

Saver -- though the girl is rather unique and it takes a ridiculously long time for them to meet
Princess -- there's lots of different relationships being developed throughout this that involve kings. Perhaps the earliest one to appear is the one between the cold/cruel, long wavy-haired king and the black-haired girl (I forget their names, it's been so long since I read it XD). The main pair at the beginning has a prince, though he eventually becomes a king.
Basara -- the Red King falls in love. XD
