I'm looking for manga where something tragic happens to the main character and it deeply effects or scars them. This can happen just before the beginning of the manga or in the beginning of it. The manga should be about them coming to terms with it and getting over it or doing something about it.
a couple of good examples are:
fly, daddy, fly - something happens to one of his family members and he does something about it.
REAL - one of the characters becomes paralyzed and he has to deal with the change.
