from what i rememeber in the begining the some wimpy guy and a crazy dude meet and they gamble their life in some building with crazy dudes with knifes guns something like after that the main dude gets entrance to the club

i have no idea but the only manga i know with gambling as the main plot is Kaiji and it might be it.
