Hey guys.....sorry for bothering you......but i was wondering if you can add a similar system that you have for the Genre filtration to the tags........

I know it might be hard, but I am hoping that you will consider adding it, and maybe even find an easy method to accomplish the task.

Personally I would like to clean up my release page, since that is where I always decide to pick up series or not. Also I know there are many people like me who follow hundreds of different series and usually DO NOT remember the names of stuff, and also rely on the release page to check out other stuff they might decide to pick up.

The problem is like we all have subjects we like to avoid in the series, that even after filtration of genres come through, or usually one genre has a lot of the unwanted stuff, and but also has loads of the good stuff thus blocking the genre is not feasible.

For those of us who do not remember the stuffs and names of series, we constantly end up seeing the same stupid set of series with unwanted content since we click the series name again to check wht its about over and over since we dont remember wht its about. In addition all the unnecessary series are populating the releases list, thus somewhat being untidy and problematic for those of us that try to keep things neat and organized.

I mean like me for example: I prefer to avoid things with Incest, gynophobia, androphobia, Axed Series, and the "Entire world is doomed unless" tags just to name a few

Thus I beg you............. please consider this option

I really agree with this. I tried to see of this was an option in the advanced search a few days ago. There wasn't. But it would really help alot. If not for every tag atleast the most offensive ones like "rape" and "incest" and things. It's much easier then going through all the stories and checking thier tags for it.

I agree that it would be useful... but there are so many tags (and the number is increasing) that it may be difficult to exclude everything we don't want to read...

Like mystichead, I usually don't remember the titles of manga I'm not interested in. That's why I created a "not interested" custom list - when I check the manga page and see a tag I'm not interested in ('rape', for example), I add the manga to this list. Then, when I go to releases page and see a title I don't know with a blue circle next to it I know that I chose not to read it earlier. It works like a tag filtration system, but is easier (at least in my opinion)

I have an idea, the tags should have a page you open that looks like the page that opens when you click on a genre in an authors page (i.e. http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?genre_id=1).
For two reasons:
1. A description of what the category entails (some are confusing such as trap being a guy you think is girl instead of a situation used to capture something).
2. A check box or something of the like could be used for filtering (unlike genres the amount of categories is large so the searching would need to be done by the users, each category individually instead of a simple list).

I see what you are saying with the whole amount of tags compared to genre things. The thing is though, why not just ones that are "taboo" (example: Bestiality, Incest, Rape) and may be offensive to some, and the big ones such as "Weak Protagonist" and "Vampires" (not necessarily, just an example). Because, if they are so mainly used it can be hard and have you searching for hours trying to find a manga to avoid these tags..
