It's driving me up the wall because I really liked it but I can't for the life of me remember the title.
I'm pretty sure only 1 chapter was released and they were using chinese names for the character names.
Plotwise the first chapter :
the girl gets dumped/finds her boyfriend cheating on her, so runs home, but then finds her apartment got robbed and her bankbook stolen. however rent is due or something like that so she gets kicked off onto the streets, where tears are streaming down her face and she's like I'll refuse to be a good girl from now on, and sell myself! so she tries to sell herself to the guy that rescues her from the rain..except she's kinda clueless in terms of these matters, but the guy doesn't touch her.
Also it's a really old shoujo/josei, so it's nothing recent, I would say before 2000, the art makes me think of Love Scar or somewhere around there(but i looked through the list and it's not there)

Or I'll take any old shoujo recommendations. =)
I've already read Ashita no Ousama, Glass Mask, Candy Candy.....something along those lines.

Have you read Bara no Tameni? It's another older-but-great manga.

I have and I really enjoy it. I tried looking through the similar stories, but either I read some of them or some of them aren't old shoujo/similar
