I'm looking for a romance manga without the usual predictable ending. I don't want a manga where you are able to guess from the beginning how the series will end or who will end up with who. I know it is difficult to find a shoujo manga like this but I appreciate any recommendations. It doesn't have to be 100% unpredictable but hopefully something that will keep me guessing. Thank you!

You're right it is uncommon to not know who the girl will end up with but there are some that I'm surprised or it's a bit unexpected. Some of these might be a stretch.

Things that fit both
Basara *the romantic lead is kinda predictable, the story is not.
Fruits Basket - Some people found the guy she picked surprising () but I was somewhat suprised at the end
Goong (ongoing)
Hana Yori Dango - Same as Furuba
Legend of Nereid
Paradise Kiss
Princess (ongoing) there are predictable relationships but many are not :nono: But the story is filled with so much political royal family craziness you don't know what will happen. this comes highly recommended.

Kimi no Iru Machi is pretty much suitable for every1, unless your real picky. The requirements don't exclude shonen manga.

Men's Kou--it hasn't ended but so far it hasn't followed the preidctable route. I have been surprised a couple of times so it might suit. My bad though if you are looking for a completed manga.

By the way i think Cat Street which has already been recommended is exactly what you want.
