Lmao, I searched youtube for any video where someone said Renee. http://youtube.com/watch?v=WFb3Ve0vKR4 There's one. That's how I pronounce it.

Are you serious? Wow... *let's start a discussion on Renee" LOL

Anyway... so it's "rené", which was how somebody in my school pronounced it too. But, on this TV show, it was "reNEEE"... I think they probably read it wrong.

XD LMAO, noooo.

When I was younger, I harbored a huge grudge toward my mom because I was just Leah Renee. Leah Renée looked a lot fancier or something, I guess. ^^;

My real name is Vincent the Mexican

I was named after the movie actor Vincent Price. He used to hit on my mom when she worked in the grocery store in North Hollywood.

I don't know how my dad feels about that, but he seems ok with naming me after a guy that used to hit on his wife...... confused no

I said in another thread your sister was my hero, but now so's your mom. I just got named whatever b/c 3 of my grandps's all had the same name..... you got the creepy movie legacy

@rene'- it's french right, pronounced rene'(ren-ay)? Does anybody pronounce it re-neee?

Alone, I'm not fond of either Leah or Renee, but together, I like them a lot. Lol, that's strange, isn't it? One would think that, since I'm not a fan of either name that I'd just hate them twice as much when they're together, but I don't.

XD LMAO. I'm sorry~

It's true. -_- My parents were smart enough to keep my Chinese name as a middle name when we moved to America. Or else, people would mess up on saying it, especially since it's Cantonese.

Imagine trying to say Ngar Mei. -__- How do you say "NG"? Ask someone Cantonese, and they might be able to tell you.

Btw. My English name is Margaret. Another name where it's constantly misspelled.

*points to username* Guess.

I go to school with 3 other 'Amanda's, and unfortunately no-one has bothered to give any of us nicknames, so when someone calls 'Amanda', we all turn around and they just point out which one (like out of a line-up). Which is why when I get to Uni I'm going by something else. No idea what, though. Maybe 'the loner freak in the corner eating her hair'.

My Chinese name is Mei Yi, which I like a whole lot better than Amanda, purely because it's unique (and pretty).

Well, my first name is Merlin. Middle name is Joseph. I share my name with my dad and one of my brothers... It's very fun in my house when someone calls out our name. xD I would have used my real name for a nickname... But it's already so over-used for a nickname that I'd have a hard time defending my use of it. xD

I have a horrid name, Brandy. I'm named after a liquor, which does piss me off a bit.
