Looking for a protagonist who is actively trying to conquer the world eg Lelouch Code Geass or Reinhard Legend of the Galactic Heroes and rather not someone like Light Death Note. Both anime and manga works for me, thanks in advance.

This isn't really the main protagonist but world domination is a pretty powerful concept: 20 Seiki Shounen/ 20th Century Boys

if it does not have to be our world i gues utawarerumono could count. but the main character isnt that ambitious. war with other countries just happens again and again
