I had a close encounter a few times...
I think I have a low blood pressure since I easily blacked out whenever I stand too long in crowded place or whenever I didn't eat. But it will go away, once I sit down for a few minutes.

It usually happen on train when it was crowded. My friends always find me a seat whenever we took train.

It also happen in canteen, I haven't had my breakfast, so I almost fainted at the canteen counter, but the cashier manage to hold me.

In market also, because it was crowded and my stomach is empty I almost fainted, but the lady at the shop notices so, she gave me a seat at her shop. She is a nice lady, she even gave me some juice.

Another one was when I was washing dishes then I suddenly fainted. My mom really freaked out.
Since then, she always force me to eat some vitamin she get from the doctor to make me stronger.

Its very embarrassing to have strangers to look after you. So, I always make sure to eat before I go out.Its very annoying to have this kind of body..... embarrassed embarrassed

I'm car sick so once I fainted for a few seconds. I was with my dad and I remember that he was actually amazed that I was feeling so well in a car but after a minute or two I couldn't see anything I was practucally blind and after that I lost counciosness, but I while falling a hit a metal bar and came back to normal in a quite painfull way dead .
And another time I almost fainted because I was really sick. But oposed to the time when I fainted in the car and everything went black, this time everything was very bright all I could see was a very strong light, I came to my senses when I fell dead again.

having a black out is the same thing as fainting right?
if so then yes.
I didn't sleep for few days straight and over worked my body. It was pretty scary..

Nope, but almost passed out from a combination of being really active and drinking no water in extreme heat. >_>;;

If blacking out is fainting, yes. Only once, though. Someone was mad that I tagged them out in paintball, and shot at me a good 7-8 times from less than 6 feet away.

I was out for about 5 minutes, waking up before an ambulance came, and ended up not going to the hospital or anything.

I used to faint a lot in crowded areas when I was a kid. I still get fainted in crowded areas but not as often. Even so, I try to avoid crowded places.. thus, I've yet to experience any kind of convention.

Sorry, I was reading answers to this post and my motherly instinct kicked in wink
People, please take care of yourselves smile Eat breakfast in the morning, drink at least 1 litre of water a day, don't work too hard and get enough sleep smile
I know that it's easier said than done, but fainting usually means that your body has to "turn off" because there's something really wrong and it may result in some other problems (bruises, for example wink)

Yeah, I was getting blood work done, and I wasn't even thinking and I kind of got fixated on the woman putting the needle in, which wasn't bad. But then I saw the blood spurting in the tube, and I just felt nausea and then I blacked out. I woke up a minute or two later and everyone in the lab was laughing at me.... sad

It's strange because I don't have a problem with other people's blood, but to see my own blood squirting out like that was too much. Now when I go in, I don't even look at the girl taking my blood, I keep my eyes on the other side of the room. laugh

I've almost fainted many times. Sometimes from the heat, and others because I get dizzy a lot.

I get that. I don't mind the site of blood, but I don't want to see mine being taken out of me!

Once I was close to fainting because my blood sugar was too low and I had to carry some heavy stuff because we were moving.

The only time I actually fainted was in the middle of the night when I awoke from a lucid dream. It had not been long since I had started lucid dreaming, but my dream recalling was already near-perfect at that point, yet I still can't remember a thing from that dream.

I've fainted once and had several close encounters all from blood work and an attempt at donating blood. The sight of human blood and needles both scare me so it's just a bad combination lol.

Yes. It was a really hot day. And I happened to do a lot of running. I faint more often when it's hot.
