So, final chapter of Girl Friends is out. Have you read it yet? Have you liked it?
I, for one would like to say that they should have had a more serious ending. Like this nothing is final. They haven't told anybody of their relationship so that leaves us with an open ending. Now, I usually don't mind leaving some things open, but don't you think that too much manga these days ends this way? On the other hand, have they gone further manga would get more serious and that would change the overall tone.
Anyway, just my personal tastes and opinion, but I'm eager to hear yours.

t5he ending is good yet it's bad. i mean i like the way to was wrapped up but i can't shake the feeling that it ended prematurely. hopefully the is a sequel or another manga as good as this.
an open ending it okay because i plot like GF you can't have a closed ending cause to do that the have to solve l the issue's with their friends and family for it to be satisfactory. your right you can't have closed ending whilst keeping the somewhat laid back comedic tone.

Well personally I felt the ending was too soon anyway. I felt like so much wasn’t resolved and a lot of things that deserved a real in-depth conversation was glossed over. For instance, what the heck did Mari mean when she said “now I’m just like Akko” WTH?!?! 
I mean we know she didn’t do anything but what was that supposed to mean? That she’s straight or something? There was a wide open gap right there that was never covered but that’s just the nature of this manga. They never talk about anything! And the only part that went into serious depth was the realization of feelings, which was done quite well might I add. All in all though it was a good ride and an ok ending so I’m good.

She meant she's had sex with a guy, just like Akko. It was her misunderstanding, and was solved in chapter 34 where we find out they're both virgins.
I liked the ending. Morinaga might return to this series after she finishes Nana and Hitomi.

I still can't believe it is over, even though I knew about it for several months now. T__T Where are we gonna find another bottomless supply of yuri angst like this again?.. (And I mean it in the best sense, of course...)

this doesnt make any sense. are you then implying that she just lied? well that would actually clarify this whole situation. wow.. that was simple, i thought it would be deeper than that.

A much better ending than the only other yuri I've ever read, which is HEN.

Ok, I know I'm resurrecting a year dead topic for this but whatever. She decided to make use of the bf to make akko more comfortable around her. Under the assumption that akko had done it as well, it would give them some common ground as well as remove some of the awkwardness by making akko think she had totally moved on.... that's just my opinion but I always considered it as a desperate ploy to keep akko from shunning her.
And ill agree it is a hard to judge ending, sweet and good, yet not quite fulfilling. Would love to see this continued as I have rarely seen a romance that is quite so adorable, was very disappointed to see it end so soon. Yet at the same time I'm not sure it could have survived an story that was extended much farther without collapsing in on itself. Unfortunately I had forgotten about this manga till recently, so I must correct the mistake of it not being in my favorites immediately .
Oh.... and the ending omake where she was cold to akko was the most adorable thing to exist on this planet. I'm a full grown straight male and I had to try EXTREMELY hard not to do an audible "awwwweeeeee  ".... that is nearing weaponization
